Before blogging I hated my job. I was an assistant manager of a dining location and a nursing student. It was labor intensive, stressful, low paying and I had no paid time off. I was living for my two days off a week but every week they would go by in the blink of an eye and before I knew it I was back at work. While at work I would constantly day dream about winning the lottery. Thinking that was the only way I would get to quit my job to be a stay at home mom, or build my dream home.

Then I'm sure like many of you right now one day my boss came to me and said my managerial position had been eliminated until things went back to normal. I could stay on as a part-time in another position until I found a new job, or things went back to normal. I had to take the job because I couldn't afford not to work. But, I also couldn't afford just one small part-time job and I didn't want two part-time jobs I hated so I started searching Pinterest and Google for "Work from home jobs" then I came across a pin that said "How I make $10,000 a month blogging" and I thought to myself "blogging? bloggers make money like that?" "I think I could give that a try" so I read the article she wrote and immediately went to sign up for a blog.

That's how I found blogging.

But.... to my surprise money didn't start falling into my bank account over night. After giving blogging my all on top of work and school I had made basically NOTHING after what felt like months of trying.

I couldn't figure out how to make my blog look how I wanted it to look, I couldn't figure out how to write blog posts that would make me money, and I really couldn't figure out how to get people to my blog.

I was desperate though so instead of giving up I made a promise to myself to learn everything I could about blogging, and if I became successful to share it with other people who wanted to blog so they could be successful without all the wasted time and stress.

then finally....

When I finally felt like "this is it I'm going to quit blogging" I decided to try one more strategy.

To my surprise it worked. In what feels like over night I went from struggling even continue to having $30,000 months from my blog. I thought It was a fluke until it happened again, month after month.

Then next thing I knew I left my job, then I realized It had been a year of making that much money, then my husband left his job. Before I could even realize what was happening we went from food stamps to living our dream life.
